Charlotte Church, a Welsh actor, singer-songwriter, and TV presenter who has a net worth exceeding $8 million, is also an activist in politics. She got her break in the world of music at the age of 11. At the age of 11, she got her break in the music industry in 1997. When she was born, her parents were already divorced. They divorced in 1991 and her mother got married again in 1992. Her stepfather, James Church, adopted her in 1999. Church was raised as a Roman Catholic.Charlotte began her career in the music industry in 1997, when she was 11 years old. On the British TV program This Morning, she sang Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Pie Jesu". That same year she performed on ITV's Big Big Talent Show. Rupert Murdoch hired Church in 1999 to sing "Pie Jesu". The connections Church established there led to concerts at a number of iconic venues, including the Royal Albert Hall. Church also opened for the legendary Dame Shirley Bassey in Belgium. Church was given a scholarship at Howell's School Llandaff, Cardiff in 1998 to study vocal techniques. Church quit the school a year later.
